The F.R. Bigelow Foundation has awarded $11,000 to the Disabilities Services Program at Metropolitan State University to purchase 30 VictorReader© Stream Daisy Players and their coordinating memory cards. The players allow students to directly access Daisy format files for digital textbooks and provide a dual-channel input, which leads to improved comprehension. Qualifying students will be able to check out the players from the library. Eve Nichols, director of Disabilities Services, said, "I am very proud to be able to provide this service that our students need."
