Steps to graduation [Diploma information] [Commencement Location]

2010 Spring Graduates need to complete these steps:

  1. Complete the Declaration of Intent to Graduate form by January 22, 2010.
  2. Contact your Academic Advisor by February 5, 2010.
  3. Your attendance at the Graduation Expo on February 27, 2010 is encouraged.
  4. Commencement for Spring graduates will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Thursday, May 6, 2010.

2010 Summer Graduates need to complete these steps:

  1. Complete the Declaration of Intent to Graduate form by May 28, 2010.
  2. Contact your Academic Advisor by June 11, 2010.
  3. Your attendance at the Graduation Expo on October 30, 2010 is encouraged.
  4. Commencement for Summer Graduates will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Tuesday, December 14, 2010.

2010 Fall Graduates need to complete these steps:

  1. Complete the Declaration of Intent to Graduate form by September 17, 2010.
  2. Contact your Academic Advisor by October 1, 2010.
  3. Your attendance at the Graduation Expo on October 30, 2010 is encouraged.
  4. Commencement will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Tuesday, December 14, 2010.

      Diploma Information

      Diplomas are ordered after the date final grades are due for the term and arrive 6 to 8 weeks after being ordered. Paying the $20 graduation fee also covers the cost of your diploma. Diplomas are mailed to graduates that have paid the graduation fee shortly after they arrive.  If you need to update your mailing address, please do so through Metropolitan State University e-Services, or if you no longer have access send an email from your "@go.metrostate.edu" email to graduation@metrostate.edu
      If you never received your diploma or want to request a duplicate diploma you can send an email to graduation@metrostate.edu
