MNSCU Tech ID/Student ID and PIN
- Your MnSCU TechID/Student ID is the eight digit account assigned to each faculty/staff and student by MnSCU.
- Your PIN is either:
- your birth date in YYMMDD format if you supplied that information at the time of admission.
- the last six digits of your social security number.
- or a PIN you have chosen.
Don't know your PIN?
Students:
- Please call "Gateway" at 651-793-1300 to have your PIN number reset or email us at: records.registration@metrostate.edu.
- Send a signed request via the mail to the address below or FAX it to the Registrar's Office at 651-793-1235 and your TechID and PIN will be mailed to your address on record.
Faculty and Staff:
The PIN number for faculty is the same number faculty use to enter grades online. Faculty and staff who do not know their Tech ID and/or PIN numbers may contact Human Resources at Human.Resources@metrostate.edu or 651-793-1275.Please note it can take up to 24 hours for a reset PIN to be enabled.
