The Metro State University Library and Information Center is a shared facility of the university and the Saint Paul Public Library, serving not only Metro State's need for library resources, but also providing the surrounding community with a full range of technology and information resources. The university library and Dayton's Bluff Branch library provide both young and adult users a safe and quiet place to study, access online materials and books, and community-user computers.
The Zone Homework Help Center provides reading, writing, math, and computer literacy tutoring, as well as other schoolwork support services for the local Dayton's Bluff youth and community members. Metro State students who are work-study eligible are encouraged to apply for the tutoring positions. Metro State alumni and community members can also tutor at the Zone as volunteers.
