Biography
Maya Zeigler joins Metro State as the Program Director of Equity and Inclusion. She is excited to have the opportunity to work on a team dedicated to this cause for an institution that has proven just how important this mission is to the Metro State community. Maya joins Metro State as a proud alum of the Public and Nonprofit Administration graduate program. Metro State has had as special place in Maya’s heart because she credits the flexible nature of the graduate program to her ability to complete it while working full time and being a parent. Prior to joining Metro State, Maya has worked in K-12 institutions as well as various non-profits in program administration, leadership and most recently recruiting and hiring.
Maya earned her BA in Sociology/Anthropology and Black Studies from Denison University. She later received her Master’s Degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Metro State University.
