Just this simple act of kindness has paved my way to graduation. This kind of reward means so much to me. I was truly moved finding out I was accepted and that you helped fund my education. This is my first ever scholarship and I am very proud of myself because I have overcome obstacles with my school and work life… finding out I received this fantastic award takes so much stress away. Not only does Social justice mean a lot to me, I aim to works towards a transformative justice approach, and you have helped me fund that opportunity.

Donors like you have helped grow the number of scholarships awarded to students. Over the past three years, the Foundation has awarded close to $1 million to more than 1,000 students. Sixty percent of these student awardees have been Black, Indigenous, or People of Color.

The fall 2022 scholarship award cycle (for fund disbursement during 2022–23 school year) supported:

649 scholarship applications received
164 scholarships awarded
$113,200 in scholarships awarded
