The best way to become a better writer is to ... write!

Dr. Mulrooney has helped countless students write clearly, unify their thoughts, and express themselves stylishly. He believes writing is not a mysterious magic trick, but a skill one can easily master. He can help students see where words can be cut or added to make an essay crisp.

Mulrooney is adept at teaching a range of writing modes, from social work to psychology to creative writing to literary and business analysis. He aims to help students set goals, generate drafts, and produce a final essay that impresses readers.

Beyond tutoring, Dr. Mulrooney enjoys writing and adventuring throughout Saint Paul with his wife and beagle.
