Major job duties
- Working one-on-one with students to tutor writing organization, style, citation, clarity and more.
- Supporting drop-in tutoring services and participating in campus outreach.
- Paid professional development opportunities include:
- Initial training.
- Subsequent in-service trainings.
- Community learning sessions.
- Potentially, embedded tutoring.
Qualifications and experience
We are looking for confident students with excellent writing skills and solid interpersonal communication skills to tutor their peers in written assignments across disciplines.
- Completion of WRIT 131 and 231 with grades of B+ preferred.
- We’re looking for students who could tutor for at least one academic year.
- Graduate students may be eligible at pay level E.
