General
- Understand the domain and scope of the disciplines of supply chain and operations management. Identify multiple sub-domains within the discipline, including supply chain management, quality management, process management, production management, and services management.
- Review samples of current and foundational research in supply chain and operations management.
- Assess supply chain and operations management research for quality of research design and practical importance of research outcomes.
- Identify potential research topics in operations management and supply chain management, along with feasibility of the research and appropriate research methods.
