Introduction to Enterprise Resource Planning systems, the ERP life cycle, the pros and cons of ERP systems, and highlights of ERP's role in an e-commerce system. This course also highlights ERP risk - the factors that go into success or failure for ERP implementations.

  • Describe the fundamental concepts of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and their role in integrating business processes across an organization.
  • Evaluate the advantages of implementing ERP systems, such as improved efficiency, data accuracy, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Assess how ERP systems can enhance the integration of online sales channels with back-end business processes.
  • Evaluate factors contributing to the success or failure of ERP projects and develop strategies for mitigating risks.
  • Apply knowledge of ERP systems to analyze real-world case studies and identify best practices for successful ERP implementation.
