Scholarships and grants for Urban Teacher candidates
Each year due to generous donors and grants, the School of Urban Education awards thousands of dollars of scholarships to several urban teacher candidates in addition to those offered to any student at the University. Scholarship applications are due in April for the following academic year. In addition, the Minnesota Office of Higher Education offers teacher candidate grants to support student teachers with financial need during their 12-15 full-time experience required for licensure.
