Calling all little scientists! Did you know that all snowflakes have six sides? This is because the molecules that make them up are hexagonal.
Join the First Saturday Science crew as we dive into the science of thermodynamics, a branch of physics that deals with heat, work, and temperature. Our team will show you how to grow your very own snowflake and make ice cream in a bag. Join us on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/user/CblCenter) on for a "Sudsy Snow" live-streamed event.
To receive our virtual session on the first Saturday of each month, please join the email list by contacting alyssia.bell@my.metrostate.edu. These sessions are free and open to the public.
Co-sponsored by Metropolitan State University's College of Sciences and the Institute for Community Engagement and Scholarship (ICES). For further information, please contact ICES at community.engagement@metrostate.edu.
