Join us in person or online for the kick off of the Hunger Free Campus Initiative! As Metro State University received the Hunger Free Campus Designation and associated funding from the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, we are proud to present they opportunity for the Metro State community to come together to share a meal and learn about food insecurity, as well as find important information regarding on-campus and community resources.
Join us in person at the Saint Paul Campus, Founders Hall Reception Area, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. for:
- Short video clips (showing around 2:45 p.m.)
- a free meal from Soul Bowl (vegan options available)
- self care kits
- food insecurity awareness information
- Metro State and community resources
- a short film and presentation from the Hunger Free student ambassador
Can't make it in person? The event will be streamed from 2:30–3:15 p.m. to ensure access to the most pertinent information. Registration for the online session is at the same registration link for the in person event.
