Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based program that teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. Metro State is excited to offer MHFA trainings to students, staff, and faculty.
Each training consists of:
- 2.5 hour self-paced online course (prework)
- 5.5 hour instructor-led training
- Final quiz and survey
Participants must complete the self-paced online course prior to the instructor-led training. Participants are required to attend the entirety of the instructor-led training in order to receive certification.
