Instructors Sarah Conover and Aaron Slinker will be at the event to guide participants through the steps of the Mental Health Aid Action Plan. Participants who complete the full instructor-led training will receive a certificate in MHFA
Each training consists of:
- 2.5 hour self-paced online course (prework)
- 5.5 hour instructor-led training
- Final quiz and survey
The instructor-led training courses will be offered March 4, 2025 via Zoom and June 3, 2025 via Zoom. The MHFA training is approximately an 8-10 hour time commitment. You will need your StarID and Minnesota State email address to complete your registration.
Participants must complete the self-paced online course prior to the instructor-led training. Participants are required to attend the entirety of the instructor-led training in order to receive certification.
