Advocates—Optimists—Trailblazers!
Please join us for Metro State University History Day as we celebrate the stories of impact that have shaped the university.
Over the past year, Metro State has celebrated the 50th Anniversary of its founding in 1971. As we culminate this year of commemoration, we invite you to join us as we look back and ahead—sharing the stories that have shaped the course of the university’s history and the lives of those it has served.
Gather with friends and supporters for a reception on the Saint Paul campus to:
- Hear President Ginny Arthur, notable alumni, and longstanding faculty speak about the unique ways that Metro State has been a catalyst for change in their lives and for our community.
- Listen to the oral histories about the unique innovations in teaching and learning that made the university a pioneer in higher education.
- See the newly unveiled university timeline display that captures our journey to the present and charts our course for the future.
- Take a short break to see and send off colleagues before the summer break!
Refreshments will be served.
