Essential Item Drive

March 24–29

During the Week of Service, alumni and community members can support students and our community by donating essential items to Metro State’s Student Parent Center. These donations will be used to benefit our students and community members throughout the year. Items we are asking for are: shampoo, conditioner, lotions, and bar soap. All donated items need to be new. There will be designated bins in the Saint Paul campus Founders Hall, St. John’s Hall, Library and Learning Center, and Student Center. In addition, you can drop off essential items at the alumni table at Spring Fest on Wednesday, March 26.

On Saturday, March 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Alumni Relations will be hosting a table at Commencement Expo and we are recruiting volunteers to help with greeting soon-to-be graduates as they fill out their cap and gown information form, direct individuals where to go, and share about our great alumni community! Light refreshments and beverages will be available. There will be two shifts during this event. All volunteers will also receive a free parking voucher. We hope you can join us for this great event!

Alumni Relations and the Career Center invite you to take advantage of these fantastic opportunities to come together and make a difference. We hope to see you there, spreading positivity and goodwill throughout the campus and beyond!
