Join us in the new Gordon Parks Gallery space on the first floor of the Library and Learning Center for the opening reception of Student Salon 2024. From paintings to photographs and digital art to textiles, the Student Salon surveys the diverse form and content explored in class and beyond. The annual exhibit at Metropolitan State University’s Gordon Parks Gallery features multimedia works produced by undergraduate students.

Visual artists include: Srey Chan, Miranda Davis, Ari Duke, Kirstyn Fink-Wesala, Andrew Houtes, Constance Klippen, Peg LaSota; Peng Moua, and Lynn Vincent.

The reception includes the screening of student films at 5:30 and a poetry reading by creative writing students at 6:30. The show will continue through April 18. Gallery hours are 1 to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The gallery is located on the first floor of the Library and Learning Center, 645 East Seventh Street, at the university’s Saint Paul Campus.
