The Center for Faculty Development (CFD) has many opportunities to participate in activities that drive your professional development and align with our mission of supporting community and resident faculty in innovative teaching, scholarship, and service to promote transformational student learning in a diverse, antiracist, urban learning community.
Highlights of current programs:
- CFD Collaborative Grant: The CFD will provide up to $1,000 for Metro projects that are aligned with the CFD’s mission, vision, and values. While we hope that many of these grants will support projects with an inter- or multi-disciplinary reach, we welcome proposals for discipline- or college-specific projects.
- Community Faculty (CF) Professional Development Compensation: CFD compensates CF approximately $200 for participating in a minimum of six (6) hours of qualifying CFD activities and writing a brief reflection report.
- Educator Learning Communities (ELC): Educator groups focused on growing together around an innovative topic related to improved teaching and learning for Metro students.
