Saint Paul, Minn., May 31, 2024—Metro State University will waive undergraduate application fees during Minnesota State Week, set for June 24–28, 2024. During Minnesota State Week, special campus visits and information events are held at Metro State University as well as at all 33 Minnesota State colleges and universities.
“Minnesota State Week provides Metro State the opportunity to partner with all our sister institutions in offering waived application fees and special visit events, further breaking down barriers to a higher education through lowering the cost of applying and making it easier to get information about the Metro State,” University President Ginny Arthur said.
This year's Minnesota State Week events include information about the North Star Promise scholarship program, beginning this fall, which makes free college tuition possible for eligible students. Campus events are scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, at 9 a.m., and Thursday, June 27, at 3 p.m., featuring campus tours and admissions presentations.
Metro State University, a member of Minnesota State, is the Twin Cities’ public, urban, comprehensive state university providing lifelong learning and competitive academic and professional degree programs at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels.
