Metro Cyber Clinic, in collaboration with Institutional Effectiveness and Technology and Center for Faculty Development, recently conducted a Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop—a comprehensive session aimed at strengthening Metro’s faculty’s understanding of cybersecurity risks.
The workshop provided faculty members with essential tools and strategies to protect themselves and their departments from cyber threats. Covering key topics such as phishing attacks, password security, and best practices for data protection, the session emphasized proactive measures to safeguard institutional and personal information.
By fostering cybersecurity awareness, this initiative supports Metro’s commitment to maintaining a secure digital environment for faculty, staff, and students. Approximately 50 faculty members participated, both in person and via Zoom.
