Metro State University will be partnering with Mainsail on a long term research project for the United States Air Force.

Together with other partners (Booz Allen Hamilton and The Linux Foundation), we will test and deploy Metalvisor, a cutting-edge product by Mainsail. Metalvisor, the first TypeZero Hypervisor for next-gen security and performance, is set to bring zero trust capabilities to the forefront, revolutionizing how we stop sophisticated exploits and protect workloads at the edge.

This innovative solution will leverage hardware-enforced security functions to create separation and protect data in all forms—whether at-rest, in-transit, or in-use. With this robust approach, Metalvisor will help secure critical operations for the USAF, offering excellent levels of resilience in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.

With the combined expertise, we will ensure the deployment of a more secure, high-performance infrastructure for the USAF, reinforcing the importance of Zero Trust Architecture in protecting our nation's cyber interests.
