DSCI 444 Project Leadership and Execution
The primary focus of this course is to master the important knowledge areas associated with project leadership. Topics covered include project planning, customer/stakeholder relations, communications, procurement, quality control, and human resource management. This project management course will follow the internationally recognized knowledge area format recognized by the Project Management Institute. Use of an online simulation as a tool for project leadership is also emphasized.

Learning outcomes
General
- Demonstrate mastery of academic theories and corresponding implementation techniques associated with all areas of project management as recognized by the international Project Management Body of Knowledge.
- Demonstrate knowledge of project management processes, project integration, scope, time management, cost management, quality management, human resource management, communication, risk, procurement and stakeholder management.
- Explain inputs and outputs of the different processes, along with the relationships between them.
- Apply principles of project management in a learning tool.
