Students will:
- Know who their assigned academic advisors are to effectively communicate with them throughout their program.
- Complete the Student College Orientation Program Experience prior to enrolling in their first term.
- Complete the Major and Academic Program Planning workshop and declare their major by the end of their first year in the college.
- Know how to read their degree audit to understand all components of their degree program, including specific courses, course prerequisites, and credit requirements necessary to graduate from Metro State.
- Make informed decisions in a timely manner which keeps them on track to complete their degree program.
- Learn university systems to review their degree progress after registering each term.
- Describe how their academic program connects with their short- and long-term goals.
- Comply with college and university policies and procedures.
