The Student Parent Early Childhood Program (SPEC) provides support to Metropolitan State University students who are parents or guardians of children under the age of six years old.
Students enrolled in this program will receive monthly distributions of essential products for their child(ren), including but not limited to items such as diapers, wipes, formula, and other essentials for newborns/toddlers. Student’s enrolled in this program will also engage in monthly check-ins with staff and have access to other resources provided by the Student Parent Center.
SPEC Participant Eligibility:
- Student(s) has a child under the age of six years old (newborn through five years)
- Student(s) must be actively enrolled in at least one course at Metropolitan State University
- Student(s) must have a 2.0 GPA
